Project Manager / Superintendent | Industrial & Retail Construction

We’re seeking a hands-on construction leader to join a privately held developer-builder in the Fort Worth area. The company develops and builds industrial and retail properties across the surrounding market.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity with considerable autonomy and direct access to ownership. You’ll be involved in nearly every aspect of the business, overseeing the full project lifecycle from entitlements, design and permitting through site development, utilities, foundations and vertical construction.

You’ll work closely with self-perform crews, subcontractors and project teams to turn plans into completed projects. Beyond field execution, you’ll help the owner evaluate new opportunities, assess risks, solve problems and make business decisions. In this small, entrepreneurial environment, your judgment and initiative will matter and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute well beyond traditional project management.

Qualifications

• Construction project management and/or field leadership experience, preferably with a Top ENR general contractor.
• Hands-on understanding of ground-up construction, from site development and utilities through foundations and vertical construction.
• Ability to work effectively with self-perform crews, subcontractors and project teams
• Knowledge of construction planning, permitting, scheduling and project execution.
• A strong can-do attitude, sound judgment and the ability to take ownership, build trust, solve problems and wear multiple hats.
