Traveling Superintendent | Healthcare Construction | Nationwide Travel

We’re seeking an experienced Healthcare Superintendent for a traveling role leading complex healthcare construction projects nationwide. Candidates may live anywhere in the U.S.

This commercial construction company specializes in healthcare construction, delivering freestanding emergency departments, ambulatory surgery centers, medical office buildings and complex ground-up, renovation and expansion projects nationwide.

The company values long-term careers and promotes from within whenever possible. Many of its leaders have grown their careers internally, creating a collaborative environment where experienced field leaders are given the opportunity to succeed.

As a Healthcare Superintendent, you’ll lead field operations from project turnover through closeout, overseeing safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor coordination and daily site activities. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager throughout the project while coordinating owners, architects, engineers and trade partners.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience, preferably with a Top ENR General Contractor.
  • Experience working in occupied healthcare facilities, including phased construction and infection control.
  • Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibility and a stable employment history.
  • Strong communication, leadership and documentation skills.

The company is committed to supporting its traveling Superintendents. You’ll have the option of returning home every other weekend or having your family member flown to the project. Housing is provided during assignments, along with a company vehicle or vehicle allowance and a weekly per diem. Between projects, you’ll remain on payroll while your next assignment is scheduled, with advance notice provided whenever possible.
