Division Manager

Division Manager, Construction/Energy (Confidential) | St. Louis, MO or anywhere with airport access

Most construction leaders build value for someone else. Here, a share of the value you build is yours. This Division Manager runs a full P&L inside a 100% employee-owned company, where every eligible employee is a shareholder and the division’s results show up in your own ownership account.

How the ownership works

  • Company-funded. ESOP contributions are made entirely by the company, at no cost to you. They sit on top of salary, bonus and your own 401(k).
  • Performance drives value. Efficiency, cost control and revenue growth can raise the value of every ESOP account. A Division Manager who owns a P&L influences that as directly as any role in the company.
  • It compounds. Company revenue has more than doubled since 2019, and ownership value builds over a career as the company grows.

The company. A national specialty contractor with more than a century in business, more than 10,000 employees and multi-billion-dollar revenue. Its energy group continues to grow and expand and this is something you can be a part of.

The opportunity. Demand for power generation, storage and delivery is growing across solar, wind, batteries, gas, nuclear and hydrogen. The group is scaling operations and pursuing new work across energy infrastructure, and it is hiring leaders to run that growth.

Who this fits. Leaders from Renewable EPC, Commercial Construction or Electrical Contracting, currently titled Project Executive, Senior Project Executive, Operations Manager, Regional Manager or Division Manager. The role carries the Division Manager title. If you are a VP today, ask us how the total economics compare.

What you will lead

  • Division P&L, business plan, budget and cash flow
  • Large-scale projects across every stage of delivery
  • Estimating and preconstruction oversight
  • Client and developer relationships
  • Team building, mentoring and leadership development
  • Safety, quality and cost at completion

Desired Experience. 10+ years in construction with direct financial responsibility on complex projects, command of every delivery stage, a record of developing leaders, sharp problem-solving and a bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
