We’re seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead commercial interior tenant improvement projects in the San Jose market. This role manages the estimating and planning process from concept through project handoff, keeping client goals, budget and schedule aligned.
Our client has built its business around commercial interiors and long-term client relationships. The team works closely with clients, architects, designers, brokers, engineers and trade partners to shape project scope and strategy from the earliest stages. Experienced professionals are involved in estimating, planning, value engineering and constructability before projects move into the field.
You’ll lead fast-track and complex TI projects ranging from $1M to $20M+, preparing conceptual through detailed estimates, reviewing design documents for constructability, driving value engineering, developing budgets and bid strategies and managing subcontractor scope meetings. You’ll also coordinate design-build MEP analysis and procurement, mentor estimating team members and ensure a seamless handoff to project management and field operations.
For a senior preconstruction professional with deep commercial interiors experience and strong subcontractor relationships, this is an opportunity to take ownership of the front end of complex projects and have a direct voice in project strategy.
